Hannah’s 2019 Winter Bookshelf Hotlist – Powerful Reads for Emotional Healing

Est. Reading Time: 1 minute

Are you hurting emotionally? Fighting with painful feelings and thoughts that make your days sour? Has your world come crashing down because of circumstances that have taken place in your life? Would you like some additional resources that offer encouragement and hope?

Our first and most powerful source of strength and defense comes through the Bible, the Word of God. In a coming post, I’ll list some of my favorite go-to scriptures for worry, stress, depression, fear, sadness, etc.

Thankfully, we can also be encouraged through the testimonies and works of other Believers who have been where we are. The following 3 books are must-haves to add to your bookshelf. They were written by dynamic and skilled Authors and Experts, and are all are on my personal “To Read” list. If you happen to read them before I do (or if you’ve already read them!) please share your thoughts and takeaways in the comments. I’d love to hear. Also, if you may know someone who needs victory in this area, these may be great (and effective) gifts to consider purchasing for their bookshelf this winter.
